Authorities are looking into what they describe as an illegal street takeover that obstructed a busy intersection with risky antics and numerous fireworks over the weekend in Prima Township, Pennsylvania.
Footage captured several vehicles spinning out of control at the intersection before the drivers managed to evade the police on Sunday night. The police department received multiple reports around 8:03 PM regarding street racing reported at that location.
According to the police, numerous cars were seen doing donuts in the middle of the road. They also mentioned that many pedestrians and vehicles filled the intersection while fireworks were set off.
About 50 to 100 individuals, including those in the cars, witnessed the scene but left before officers could arrive. The police have reached out to the public for assistance in identifying those involved in these reckless activities.
Detectives are currently analyzing surveillance footage from the area and collaborating with local law enforcement as part of their investigation.
