Whoopi Goldberg Praises Democrats' Passionate Representative Jasmine Crockett

Goldberg Applauds Crockett’s Bold Remarks

On Thursday, Whoopi Goldberg from “The View” expressed strong support for Texas Democrat Jasmine Crockett after she criticized President Donald Trump and his supporters.

Crockett, known for her outspoken and sometimes divisive comments, shared her views on the Democratic donor class, saying they seek “the safest white boy” for 2028. She also noted that Trump has failed to deliver on his promises. As the segment wrapped up, Goldberg couldn’t hide her admiration for Crockett, calling her “great” multiple times.

“This is why [Crockett] is so wonderful!” Goldberg exclaimed, receiving applause from the audience. “Be careful, that’s all I can say.”

Crockett’s remarks included some provocative, race-related comments about Trump, which raised quite a few eyebrows. She pledged in a June interview that if Democrats take back the House in 2026, she would be prepared to investigate Trump should she become the chair of the House Oversight Committee.

In a later appearance on “Next Questions with Katy Couric,” Crockett labeled Trump’s supporters as mentally unwell, despite lawmakers generally seeking bipartisanship. Back in March, during an MSNBC interview, she described Trump as “the enemy of the United States” and implied he was aligned with Russian President Vladimir Putin, especially after a contentious prank involving Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Without presenting any evidence, Crockett went on an impassioned three-minute tirade about Texas politics, asserting that her opponents would “enslave” her if given the chance.

The Texas lawmaker also told Charlamagne Tha God on “The Breakfast Club” in February that she was “helping” Canada and Mexico because of her opposition to Trump’s tariffs. In another February appearance on “The View,” she suggested that Trump’s high approval ratings were unfounded, claiming he lacked the understanding of Americans.

She specifically took aim at Republican Georgia Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene during a May 2024 hearing, referring to her with a string of colorful adjectives.
