Increasing Surveillance of Iranian Operatives

According to sources, the FBI has ramped up its surveillance of Iranian aid operatives in the U.S. amid escalating tensions related to the Israeli-Iran conflict, a situation confirmed recently by multiple law enforcement sources.

The White House announced that President Trump is expected to decide on U.S. involvement in this conflict within the next two weeks. This increase in surveillance reportedly targets potential sleeper cells that might have ties to Hezbollah, a terrorist group backed by Tehran. Israel’s Defense Minister, Israel Katz, has also issued stern warnings to Hezbollah against taking part in this issue.

In the backdrop, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has stated that Iran is pursuing threats against Trump, stating clearly, “They want to kill him. He is the number one enemy.” Netanyahu emphasized Trump’s role as a decisive leader who has not engaged with Iran from a position of weakness.

Despite facing mixed reactions from both political sides, Trump is contemplating a strategy that demands “unconditional surrender” from Iran. Yet, he hasn’t finalized his approach to U.S. involvement. Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt reiterated that a decision is forthcoming.

This week, officials revealed that the USS Nimitz, having departed from the South China Sea, is set to arrive in the Middle East soon, joining the USS Carl Vinson. This marks a significant military presence with two U.S. aircraft carriers positioned in the region simultaneously.
