Shedeur Sanders Did Not Show Up in Court for Two Traffic Violations

Cleveland Browns Rookie Chedur Sanders Misses Court Appearance After Traffic Violations

Chedur Sanders, a rookie with the Cleveland Browns and son of NFL legend Dion Sanders, did not show up for court following two traffic violations. Reports indicate that he was caught speeding over 100 mph in a 60 mph zone, according to police records from Ohio.

Medina City Court records reveal that the Ohio State Highway Patrol had initially cited Sanders on June 6. Interestingly, it was noted that he failed to attend his court date on June 13 related to the first incident.

A spokesperson for the Browns, Peter John Baptist, mentioned in a statement that Sanders is currently addressing the tickets.

Since being drafted in the fifth round by the Browns, Sanders has gained considerable grassroots support, resulting in strong sales of his rookie jerseys. However, sports commentator Boomer Esiason commented that some NFL owners might have concerns about his attitude and perceived fit within their teams.

Esiason noted that after speaking to several people in the league, it seemed Sanders wasn’t on their radar, with rumors of an owner advising against his selection. It’s a curious situation, shrouded in a bit of controversy and speculation about his future in the league.
