Oprah Winfrey Addresses Diddy Rumors
Oprah Winfrey recently spoke out against rumors suggesting her involvement with Sean “Diddy” Combs, who has been embroiled in serious legal issues, including allegations of sex trafficking. Winfrey firmly stated, “I’ve never been near a puff party, never,” while appearing at an event, emphasizing that anyone who knows her would understand she isn’t one to miss a party.
During the event, Pastor TD Jakes, who joined Winfrey on stage, shared his own experience, insisting that he only visited Combs’ house briefly during the daytime. “I stop by at Puffy’s for 30 minutes to wish him a happy birthday at 2 AM with the staff,” Jakes remarked. He expressed frustration over being linked to rumors surrounding Combs’ alleged parties, stating, “Just because I visited, I get associated with ‘love events and all sorts of things.’
Winfrey playfully responded to Jakes, asking, “Are you too?” to which he affirmed, “Yes!” He humorously added, “I’m almost 70 now. What do I look like?” This elicited laughter from the audience as he continued, “I’m my grandfather. What do you look like at this late date?”
Meanwhile, it’s important to note that Diddy has been in custody since September 16, facing allegations of sex trafficking among several other serious charges. He is currently involved in a trial that could extend into the summer.
Reports detail some of the serious allegations against him, including what has been dubbed “freak-off” events—extended, sordid parties involving various forms of substance abuse. Prosecutors indicate that these parties are particularly concerning due to the involvement of victims.
The federal complaint reveals that Combs and some of the reported victims often required IV fluids to recover from the extensive physical exertion and drug use experienced during these gatherings.
Additionally, Buzbee’s law firm and AVA Law Group have initiated multiple separate lawsuits targeting Combs, his associates, and other parties involved in various alleged crimes.
