Lauren Sanchez Faces Potential Beauty Blunder Ahead of Wedding to Jeff Bezos

Lauren Sanchez could be experiencing a significant beauty mishap as she prepares for her major wedding in Venice to Jeff Bezos.

Freelance tour guide Beatrice Babato recently captured a photo showcasing a list of wedding guests arriving at the airport. Interestingly, well-known nail artist Iram Shelton, a preferred choice for Sanchez, was marked as a “no show.”

It’s uncertain whether Shelton was actually contracted to do Sanchez’s nails or if she was simply invited as a guest to the star-studded event.

Shelton has previously collaborated with famed nail technician Tom Bachik during the 2024 Met Gala. Recently, Bachik was recognized for giving Josh Allen a sleek, minimalist pale pink manicure for Hailey Steinfeld’s wedding this past May.

Page 6 reached out to Shelton’s representatives but hasn’t received a response yet.

This report sheds light on the wedding planning in a city renowned for its canals. The lavish event is set to take place at the Aman Venice Hotel, which the couple has reportedly rented out entirely.

A source mentioned to Page 6 that guests who had booked at the hotel for Wednesday night were relocated due to Bezos reserving the entire venue several months in advance.

“These guests are finding accommodations at other hotels, like the St. Regis,” the insider added. “The Aman is covering the costs and offering upgrades due to the situation.”

Sanchez, 55, kicked off her wedding celebrations last month with a stylish bachelorette bash that saw the attendance of various celebrities, including pop sensation Katy Perry and reality stars like Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner, and Eva Longoria.

The parties began with dinner at a restaurant in Paris’ Landmark Lafayette on May 15 and continued with a luncheon the following day.

In the lead-up to the wedding, the bride also hosted a stunning boat soirée, with guests enjoying festivities aboard a large party ship, while she donned a chic white bridal outfit.

As the wedding day approaches, it hasn’t been without its critics. Locals have staged protests, displaying signs with messages like “There’s no space for Bezos.” However, the couple’s wedding planners have come to their defense, emphasizing their commitment to minimizing disruption and respecting the local community.

The planners, Lanza and Bausina, stated, “From the very beginning, our clients made it clear that they wanted to respect residents and institutions, ensuring that local workers are heavily involved in creating this event.”
