Patton Oswalt Addresses ICE Agents in a Comedic Rant
Actor and comedian Patton Oswalt took to the spotlight on Monday night, humorously criticizing a rumor involving Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents. He dismissed the notion of removing illegal immigrants as a bit ridiculous, even dubbing it “the largest dowel bag on the planet.”
During his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Oswalt expressed a degree of sympathy for the ICE agents, suggesting that their actions seemed like a fantasy to them. He cheekily compared their appearance to that of “Pillsbury Stormtroopers.”
In a tongue-in-cheek moment, he asked if he could speak directly to the camera, where he continued his lighthearted criticism, saying, “Your knees hurt, your lower back screams, and you’re wondering why you’re out there when you could be home playing video games and enjoying snacks.”
He concluded with a note on the benefits of his own lifestyle, saying he is able to serve humanity by staying at home, enjoying video games, and supporting the economy through local snacks.
Oswalt, who has a reputation for being outspoken about political issues, has previously voiced strong opinions against those he disagrees with. In a past statement, he labeled supporters of President Trump as “silly assholes,” asserting that those who vote for him share that sentiment.
He has also made waves by criticising various political figures and the state of the political landscape in America, highlighting what he sees as a troubling trend.
