Mossad leader expresses gratitude to the US for assistance in stopping Iran's nuclear program

Mossad Director Appreciates Efforts in Countering Iran’s Nuclear Threat

Mossad Director David Barnea expressed his gratitude to the personnel at the agency after the achievement of Israeli Operation Ryinglion. He specifically acknowledged the role the U.S., particularly the CIA, played in efforts against Iran’s nuclear ambitions.

“These are significant times for Israel. The longstanding threat posed by Iran, which has jeopardized our security for years, has been notably diminished through exceptional collaboration between the IDF, which spearheaded the operation, and Mossad, which closely supported it,” he stated.

Interestingly, as Mossad prepared for its initiatives, Iranian officials were gearing up for Operation Raisinglion. Early on a Sunday morning, there was some speculation about whether the U.S. and Israel were aligning their actions prior to a strike against Iran. Following the operation, President Donald Trump revealed that he and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had been coordinating in the background.

“I want to extend my thanks and congratulations to Prime Minister Netanyahu. We were working as a united front—almost as if no team had collaborated so closely before. We’ve made significant strides to neutralize this peril facing Israel,” Trump remarked post-strike.

According to Israeli assessments, the recent U.S. operation has set Iran’s nuclear program back significantly. Barnea voiced appreciation for both Israeli and American forces, yet he noted that “the mission is far from over.” He emphasized, “Mossad will persist in its unwavering commitment to monitor, track, and respond to threats against us, as we have always done for Israel and its citizens.”

In light of recent events, Iran’s nuclear head, Mohammad Eslami, mentioned on Tuesday that the nation is evaluating the extent of the damage and is preparing to restore their facilities. He indicated that Iran has plans to ensure production and service continuity.

Both Trump and Netanyahu have vowed to take action should Iran attempt to restructure its nuclear program.
