Lauren Sanchez and Jeff Bezos Share Pre-Wedding Dinner in Venice
Lauren Sanchez was all smiles during one of her final evenings as a fiancée. On Thursday, she donned a vintage Alexander McQueen dress while enjoying dinner with Jeff Bezos in Venice, Italy.
The elegant one-shoulder gown featured striking stripes made of white buttons, which added a unique flair.
Sanchez, 55, styled her hair in soft waves and accessorized with a chic black clutch and strappy sandals. Meanwhile, 61-year-old Bezos opted for a black suit paired with a cream T-shirt and sunglasses.
The couple, who made their romance public in 2019 and got engaged four years later, was seen laughing and waving at onlookers during their outing.
After arriving in Venice by helicopter, they took a water taxi on Wednesday. Sanchez appeared surprised by her choice of a sleeveless black gown paired with stylish stiletto heels.
This week, numerous celebrities have been spotted in the city for their upcoming wedding. Ivanka Trump and her family arrived on Wednesday, followed by Oprah Winfrey, Kim Kardashian, and Orlando Bloom the next day.
Guests have been kept largely in the dark about the wedding’s exact location. Reports suggest they’ve only been provided with a mood board for their outfits. “The guests don’t know where,” a source mentioned. “They were not given the time and details. They’re just taken there.”
Sanchez and Bezos are said to be keeping their plans under wraps, potentially to ward off any disruptive protesters. According to a Venice insider, the couple is intentionally leaving several options open by booking multiple venues on different dates. This approach aims to confuse paparazzi and ensure contingency plans are ready for any last-minute changes.
As for the wedding ceremony, it’s expected to take place at the beachside restaurant La Pagoda, while the fiancé is reportedly set at Teatroverde on the island of San Giorgio Maggiore. It’s worth noting that both Sanchez and Bezos were previously married; Sanchez to Patrick Whitesell and Bezos to Mackenzie Scott.
