Allegations Against Martin Kove

An actress, who has been an extra on the set of “Cobra Kai,” has accused actor Martin Kove of sexual harassment. She stated that an incident occurred on set in April 2024, although she clarified that there was no physical contact. Still, she felt Kove’s behavior was unsettling and made her uncomfortable.

She reported her concerns to Sony, which led to an internal investigation deemed necessary following an initial review of her allegations. As part of this process, representatives from the studio spoke with various actresses and others involved in the production of “Cobra Kai” season six. They concluded that Kove’s actions were inappropriate and directly addressed the matter with him, as reported.

Sources familiar with the incident described a meeting where Kove was reprimanded by Sony executives and producers, during which he was firmly told about the seriousness of the situation.

In response to the allegations, Kove expressed confusion, stating, “This is so strange, like last April.” He emphasized that he had been open during Sony’s inquiry into the incident and reiterated that he did not engage in any misconduct, whether physical or emotional.

Interestingly, Kove was not formally asked to leave the set but was encouraged to apologize to the actress. However, it’s unclear if he followed through on that suggestion.

These allegations arise soon after another claim was made against Kove by “Cobra Kai” actress Alicia Hanna Kim, related to an accusation of biting. According to reports, Kove was removed from a fan event in Washington after alleging that Kim bit him on the arm.
