Charges Against Marius Borg Hoyby

Prince Marius Borg Hoyby, the eldest son of Crown Prince Mette Marit of Norway, is facing serious accusations that include multiple counts of rape, sexual assault, and physical harm.

This situation arose after an extensive investigation spanning a month, which led to several arrests in 2024. According to Andreas Kluszewski of the Oslo police, there are “double-digit” victims involved in these allegations.

Kruszewski detailed the charges, which consist of one case of rape with intercourse, two cases of rape without intercourse, four instances of sexual assault, and two cases of physical harm. It was also noted that the 28-year-old Hoyby was cooperative during questioning with the authorities.

The police have stated that their inquiry was thorough, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the circumstances surrounding the allegations.

While reports indicate that Hoyby’s legal representative, Petar Sekulic, has been approached for comments, it appears that there has been no admittance of fraud linked to the claims, particularly those concerning sexual violence.
