Diddy Trial Update
On June 30, 2025, Judge Arun Subramanian instructed the jury to keep deliberating after they reported an inability to reach a verdict on the first count of the trial. The judge emphasized the importance of their continued discussion.
After a break, the jurors indicated that they would resume their deliberations the following day at 9 a.m.
Earlier that day, the jury reached a partial verdict regarding several charges against Sean “Diddy” Combs. There were twelve jurors, consisting of eight men and four women. They managed to agree on counts two through five but could not come to a consensus on count one, which relates to conspiracy to commit assault.
The jury notified Judge Subramanian that they had reached verdicts on counts two through five. Specifically, count two involves allegations of sex trafficking against one victim. Count three pertains to the transportation of individuals across state lines for prostitution, while counts four and five address additional sex trafficking and related illegal activities involving other victims.
Convictions for sex trafficking could lead to mandatory prison sentences of at least 15 years. Similarly, charges related to transporting individuals for prostitution can result in sentences of up to ten years.
Should Diddy be found to have orchestrated a “criminal enterprise” involving these activities, he may face a potential life sentence based on the charges brought against him.
