Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck make a 'business choice' following their divorce

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have taken their $68 million Los Angeles marital home off the market after finalizing their divorce.

The pair, known for their hits and films, have struggled to secure a buyer for their Beverly Hills estate since putting it up for sale in June 2024.

As an insider noted, “They wanted to sell the property but were reluctant to take a significant loss again.” This sentiment was shared with the media recently.

They initially lowered the asking price in hopes of attracting more interest, but when that strategy failed, they decided it was best to withdraw it, according to another source.

“It was a mutual business decision,” the source explained. They’re facing a tough market, especially given the high price point.

“Taking it off the market seems to be the wisest choice until conditions improve,” added the insider.

Lopez, 55, and Affleck, 52, began attempts to sell their property in June 2024, later listing it officially that July.

They reduced the price of the sprawling 12-bedroom, 24-bathroom home to $59.95 million before ultimately deciding to take it down from listings.

Lopez filed for divorce from Affleck in August 2024 after two years of marriage, although they had been separated since April of that year. Their divorce was finalized in January.

On a different note, Affleck recently acquired a $20 million mansion in Pacific Palisades in July 2024, aiming to be closer to his three children from a previous marriage. Meanwhile, Lopez selected an $18 million residence in Los Angeles back in March.
