Independence Day Celebrations at the White House

On July 4th, 2025, First Lady Melania Trump paid homage to her husband by performing his distinctive dance on the White House balcony, celebrating Independence Day. This came shortly after President Donald Trump signed the “Big, Beautiful Building” bill.

Melania was spotted mimicking her husband’s well-known “Trump Dance” on Friday evening. This dance is often associated with his campaign rallies and features lively movements to the tune of songs like “YMCA.”

In addition to the dance, the couple shared affectionate moments while enjoying the fireworks display.

A tweet from 1 American News noted, “Have you seen the kiss? President Trump and First Lady Melania shared a gentle moment during this epic fireworks show on Independence Day. God blesses America. Have a wonderful July 4th weekend celebrating America’s freedom and independence.”

President Trump marked America’s 249th Independence Day by officially signing the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act.” This legislation was narrowly passed by the House with a vote of 218-214 and sent to the President for his signature.

The bill encompasses several provisions, including a permanent extension of the 2017 tax cuts, funding for border security, resources for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and adjustments to eliminate tips and overtime taxes, along with addressing elements of the previous administration’s clean energy tax credit.
