New Developments Emerge 15 Years After Gary Coleman's Death

Shannon Price’s Lie Detector Test Related to Gary Coleman

Shannon Price, the former wife of Gary Coleman, recently underwent a lie detector test in connection with allegations surrounding his death. This effort was part of an attempt to clear her name regarding claims of cheating. On July 8, it was reported that the test results would be featured in an upcoming episode of A&E’s “Life Detector: Truth or Deception,” set to release on July 10.

Coleman tragically passed away in 2010 from a subdural hematoma after a fall at his home.

Price took the polygraph exam back in January, and it appears the former FBI agent and polygraph specialist George Olivo found her responses to two critical questions suggestive of deception. Specifically, she was questioned about whether she had physically harmed Coleman during their relationship and if she deliberately withheld assistance when he collapsed. Both answers, it seems, returned as inconclusive.

Interestingly enough, much of this was filmed, and Price maintained a surprisingly calm demeanor throughout the test.

According to reports, Olivo expressed skepticism regarding Price’s honesty and stated he was convinced there were still undisclosed elements related to Coleman’s fatal fall.

At one juncture during the testing, Olivo prompted Price to react to his findings, to which she coolly responded that she believed the outcome to be incorrect.

Price’s connection to Coleman’s death has attracted public curiosity for several years now. Whether this latest development will lead to further scrutiny remains uncertain. She shared with TMZ that they were disappointed with the overall experience, citing unfulfilled promises from A&E. “The testing process felt unfair and very uncomfortable. The way it was conducted, nonverbally, should have been rejected,” she noted. “It was evident from the start that they were more focused on the evaluation than on uncovering the truth.”

Gary Coleman is probably best remembered for his role as Arnold Jackson on the hit sitcom “Diff’rent Strokes.”
