Jack Schlossberg Comments on Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis
Jack Schlossberg, a member of the Kennedy family known for his bold social media posts, recently took a swipe at his grandmother, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, in a rather quirky Instagram video. This post gives a casual nod to her complicated personal life.
In the video, Schlossberg showcased a People Magazine Cover from July 7, featuring a striking image of Jacqueline standing behind her husband, John F. Kennedy, under the bold headline, “Jackie knew everything.”
He captioned the video with “Jackie Was Right About Everything,” perhaps alluding to her awareness of JFK’s rumored affair with Marilyn Monroe.
There’s a strong belief that Jackie was aware of her husband’s long-lasting relationship with Monroe. Reports suggest she once confronted him about it.
Biographer J. Randy Taraborelli, who wrote “JFK: public, private, secret,” has indicated that Jackie told JFK, “This is not, Jack. This worries me,” during a tense conversation. He adds that this information came from someone in the White House who overheard the exchange.
For many years, speculation has surrounded the nature of JFK’s and Monroe’s relationship; however, Taraborelli revealed that Jackie seemed uncertain but assumed there was something going on. She reportedly expressed, “I didn’t know if JFK was involved with her.” It’s interesting to think about the dynamics in such a high-profile marriage.
Jack Schlossberg is the only grandson of Jacqueline, who passed away from cancer in 1994 at the age of 64. JFK, his grandfather, was assassinated in 1963.
Jacqueline Kennedy, who took on the surname Onassis after marrying Greek tycoon Aristotle Onassis in 1968, often captivated the media. During her time, she was, undoubtedly, a significant figure in the spotlight.
This isn’t the first time Schlossberg has made headlines with his comments about his grandmother. After the 2025 inauguration, he cheekily suggested that Usha Vance, the wife of Vice President J.D. Vance, might be “hotter” than Jackie O. He asked his followers on X, “True or false: Is Usha Vance much hotter than Jackie O?”
Following backlash, Schlossberg humorously admitted to being a “literal pervert” in a subsequent post, reflecting on the absurdity of his questions. He expressed dismay at his own behavior, stating, “Did I lose it completely? Yes… this child does something for attention.” Clearly, he understood the oddity of the situation.
His followers had mixed reactions; some even suggested he seek help for his comments.
Schlossberg is the son of Caroline Kennedy, former diplomat and writer, and designer Edwin Schlossberg. He comes from a legacy that has long been associated with progressive political views.
Last July, he was named a political correspondent for Vogue, set to cover the upcoming presidential election between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris, signaling his active engagement in political discourse.
