Mark Epstein Questions Claims About Brother’s Death
Mark Epstein, the brother of Jeffrey Epstein, expressed disbelief over suggestions that his brother’s death in prison was a suicide, claiming he found it laughable. During an interview with Chris Cuomo on News Nation, Mark stated, “Every time they say something, or whenever they do something to counteract the fact that he was most likely murdered, they just put more feet in their mouths.”
He referred to FBI director Kash Patel’s comments regarding his qualifications as a prosecutor, pointing out, “You know what suicide you were going to see.” Mark seemed to dismiss Patel’s assertions, questioning the validity of his expertise.
Further criticizing Patel, Mark Epstein noted that he lacks a medical background, sarcastically asking if Patel possessed even basic first aid training to confirm the circumstances of Jeffrey’s death. He highlighted that two medical examiners, Dr. Christine Roman and Dr. Michael Baden, were unable to definitively conclude whether it was a murder or a suicide, suggesting that their findings leaned more towards foul play.
He remarked, “Was Kash Patel in that autopsy room? No. Was Kash Patel in prison when they found Jeffrey? No, I don’t think so.” This seemingly pointed skepticism appeared to reflect Mark’s frustration over the situation.
The Justice Department recently stated in a memo that there is no evidence supporting the claim that Jeffrey Epstein was murdered while incarcerated. The memo also reiterated that there is no evidence of a “client list” maintained by Epstein, despite earlier claims by Attorney General Pam Bondy that she had one on her desk.
