Donovan Mitchell recently celebrated a significant moment in his personal life.

The Cavaliers star and Grammy-winning R&B artist Coco Jones shared her engagement news on Instagram late Friday, posting images and a hint for those involved.

One of the photos features the couple kissing, with Jones proudly showing off her new ring.

A video from the occasion captures the couple by a pool in what looks like a tropical setting, where the 28-year-old Mitchell kneels to propose.

The couple joyfully embraced, marking this special time together.

“After an impressive season and a sold-out tour, Donovan Mitchell and Coco Jones took some time to recharge over the holidays, leading to this beautiful engagement,” they shared in a statement.

“The couple has been together for two years and is eager to build their future together.”

Wilson, a friend, posted a congratulatory message on his Instagram story, referring to them as “Love Birds” and expressing gratitude for being involved in the planning with Mitchell.

The West2east Luxury Services account is certainly a unique experience.

Mitchell and Jones have kept their relationship mostly private, though they reportedly began dating last July 4 during Michael Rubin’s “White Party.”

“I enjoy the internet because they definitely keep an eye on my life. It’s amusing—like I’m in a detective movie,” Jones mentioned on the “Club Shay Shea” podcast.

“I’m happy. My music allows me to express a lot of my experiences and emotions.”

Mitchell is recognized as one of the leading players in the NBA, having helped the Cavaliers set a record in the Eastern Conference, although they were knocked out in the second round.

He signed a three-year, $150 million extension with the team last year.

Meanwhile, Jones released her debut album, “Why Not More?” in April and won a Grammy for Best R&B Performance with her song “ICU” last year.
