WWE Evolution 2: Drew McIntyre praises the women's division

WWE Evolution Event Set for Sunday Night

This Sunday, WWE will host Evolution, widely regarded as one of its best premium live events, marking seven years since the first event began the women’s revolution in wrestling.

The lineup includes five championship matches, with winners earning future title shots, alongside a battle royal. Fans can expect a mix of seasoned veterans like Nikki Bella and emerging stars such as Jacee Jane, Sol Luka, Zaria, and Haida Parker.

Drew McIntyre, a seasoned WWE star, reflected on the significant changes in the women’s division. He appreciates how far things have come from when women were often sidelined to now being a central focus. “Women are continuing to improve continually,” McIntyre stated. “It’s a different atmosphere now. Fans want to see innovation in women’s wrestling without completely altering who they are.”

He added, “It’s challenging to keep up with the evolving match styles lately, and the NXT generation is really stepping up.”

With enthusiasm, McIntyre acknowledged the overall quality of the presentation in WWE. “I’ve always valued ring count, but it’s more than just that—it’s about storytelling and developing a character that resonates with the audience. The women are really excelling right now, and I find myself admiring their work, just like everyone else.”

The Evolution event kicks off at 8 PM in Atlanta, and excitement is palpable among fans eager for what promises to be an unforgettable show.
