Kelly Osbourne addresses rumors regarding Ozzy's health and their parents' supposed 'suicide pact'

Kelly Osbourne Addresses Health Rumors About Ozzy Osbourne

Kelly Osbourne recently took to social media to clarify speculation surrounding her father’s health. In several posts, she dismissed the notion that there was a suicide pact between her parents, Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne.

“Stop posting articles about how my parents believe they have a suicide agreement,” Kelly stated in an Instagram Story on July 11. “My mother told me once it was for attention, and my dad’s not dying. Just stop.”

She also commented on previous statements Sharon made in 2017 about euthanasia, noting that her parents had discussed this after the passing of her father, who suffered from Alzheimer’s. Sharon had expressed a belief in euthanasia, indicating they would consider it in case of a serious brain-affecting illness.

Kelly’s comments come amid rumors ignited by an AI-generated video affecting Ozzy’s image, claiming he was near death. “This video is spreading on social media claiming to feature my dad, but it’s not him,” she clarified. “It uses voices like his and David Attenborough’s, stating, ‘I don’t need a doctor to say I’m going to die. I know I’m going to die.’”

Frustrated, Kelly asked, “What’s wrong with people? Why spend time making videos like this?”

Ozzy Osbourne, who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2003, has seen his mobility decline, although his family remains hopeful about his health. Kelly emphasized, “He’s not dead. Yes, he has Parkinson’s, and yes, his mobility has changed, but he won’t die.” In a candid moment on his Sirius XM show, Ozzy acknowledged his struggles with walking but also reflected on the resilience of others facing similar challenges.

In her recent posts, Kelly expressed her anger towards those spreading these false narratives, urging them to reconsider their words. “If you think you understand the situation, your message is incredibly rude,” she wrote. “So, first off, go f— yourself! He’s not at stage 5! That’s not how his Parkinson’s is.”

As the Osbournes navigate these rumors, they continue to address concerns with honesty and a sense of familial loyalty.
