A college friend of Prince William and Kate Middleton passes away after falling from a rooftop.

The British reality television star, who was also a socialite and a college friend of Prince William and Duchess Kate, passed away after a fall from a rooftop on Thursday. This was confirmed by London police on Tuesday.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police stated, “At 23:02 on Thursday, October 30, officers were called to concerns regarding a man on a building rooftop on Cockspur Street, Westminster.” They added, “Sadly, the man fell from a height. Despite the immediate efforts of the London Ambulance Service, he was pronounced dead at the scene. His death was unexpected but not deemed suspicious.”

Reports indicate that he fell from the Trafalgar St James Hotel, a drop of around 100 feet.

Duncan, who was 45, appeared on the reality show Britain’s Big Brother. He attended St Andrews University in Scotland, where he was contemporaneous with William and Kate, who began dating there.

According to a newspaper source, he was among the first to know about the couple’s relationship. Duncan also participated in a well-known fashion show at the university, where Kate caught William’s attention in a sheer dress.

Duncan reminisced about that event, saying, “It was the end of their first year. I was there too, and, well, there were a lot of attractive girls. She wore a daring dress that looked a bit like stockings. He was in the front row, and his eyes were glued to her.” He recalled that incident as a pivotal moment in royal history.

Lizzy Cundy, a British TV personality, expressed her sorrow on social media, stating, “So shocked and heartbroken to hear of the passing of my friend Ben Duncan. A beautiful soul with a vibrant personality. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family.” Meanwhile, broadcaster Mike Hollingsworth described Duncan as someone who embodied a youthful spirit, stating he will be deeply missed for his charm and infectious laughter.
