A Former Psychic's Caution: Halloween, Ouija Boards, and the Game of the Devil

Warning About Halloween Divination Tools

A former psychic has expressed concerns about certain popular items linked to Halloween—like Ouija boards and tarot cards—suggesting they could be demonic.

“I’m a former psychic, and I’ve noticed that divination tools like Ouija boards and tarot cards are popular around Halloween,” stated Jen Nizza during an appearance on the Into the Supernatural Podcast, hosted by Jen Lilly and Billie Hallowell.

“Parties are provided with tarot card readers, which you see at stores like HomeGoods and CVS. Your kids go to these places—like Five Below—and they glamorize fortune-telling tools, making it seem fun and harmless,” Nizza pointed out.

Nizza, who runs a YouTube channel and a podcast, described divination as “entering into creation to extract hidden meanings, accessing supernatural information that lies outside of God’s will.” Common tools in this practice include tarot cards, Ouija boards, and astrology.

“When I was 12 years old, I actually had two mental attacks,” Nizza recalled. “And by my own definition, a psychic attack is receiving information mentally.”

She noted having her first tarot reading around that same age, initially viewing it as “harmless,” but now sees it as a “satanic act.” Nizza elaborated, “What seemed harmless… ended up being an addictive and horrifying rabbit hole of destruction. This was my entry point. Whether it’s tarot cards, Ouija boards, or horoscopes, they often say there’s a doorway to the devil.”

Despite her deep involvement in occult practices, Nizza eventually turned to Christianity. She recognized that she had been misled and left her life as a psychic behind. As Halloween approaches, she shared an urgent warning.

“My biggest warning is…if you engage in diabolical things, you will get diabolical results. Satan disguises himself as an angel of light, so what may seem fun and harmless is actually the devil’s tools. It’s not a game you should play with,” she cautioned.
