A.J. Brown says winning Super Bowl ‘wasn’t what I thought it would be;’ love for game ‘comes when I dominate’

Winning the Super Bowl is overrated, according to AJ Brown.

The Philadelphia Eagles star wide receiver won Lombardi's first trophy on Sunday, scoring a touchdown in the bird's dominant 40-22 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs.

However, Brown seems to have already passed the title.

In an Instagram post, Brown said his time was already over to incorporate the Lombardi Trophy victory and he wasn't exactly at the top of the world.

“A few days later, I had time to look back on being a champion. I tried to feel that everyone felt like they had made it a champion. Unfortunately, it was short-lived. Brown's caption, He said it was attached to a photo of his touchdown from the game.

“I've never been a champion at the highest level ever, but I thought my hard work would be justified by winning all of it. It wasn't. The thrill of this game is the game. will come when I control,” he added. “It's a hunt to do it for me. It's when DB drops his head and surrenders because he can't with me. A fierce battle. Early morning. Late night. Sacrifice. I put smiles on people's faces. I love it. I'll misunderstand, but that wasn't what I thought it was.”

That part of the caption raised some eyebrows, but his words looked like those of a true competitor.

“That's my favorite trip. Back 2 work!”

The party on the field was anti-climax as the game was decided early in the game.

But Brown will think differently when birds cross Philadelphia for Friday's parade.
