Transgender Boyfriend of Alleged Assassin Speaks Out
A female relative of Tyler Robinson, the boyfriend of Charlie Kirk’s suspected assassin, spoke to NewsNation in an interview that aired Thursday. Robinson, a biological male, was linked to the incident occurring on September 10 at Utah Valley University.
During a segment with NewsNation Senior National Correspondent Brian Entin, the family expressed their strong belief that Robinson was indeed involved in Kirk’s assassination.
Entin inquired, “Is he expected to continue cooperating with the investigation?” The family responded with uncertainty. “I’m not really sure. When I first heard how he was taken in by the police… I understand they said he was cooperative, but he was taken in rather than volunteering. He provided information when asked, but didn’t initially offer anything on his own,” they explained.
Entin noted that many speculations suggest other individuals may have participated in Kirk’s assassination. He asked, “How confident are you that the police have the right suspect in Tyler Robinson?” to which the family member replied, “Absolutely, 100%. They have the right people.”
According to reports, Twiggs has vanished from St. George, Utah, and seems to be maintaining a low profile. The family mentioned that initially, there were threats against them, prompting some FBI protection in the first few weeks, but noted that they have since disappeared. “He is with his family now,” they said.
It appears Robinson had communicated confessions to Twiggs through text messages and expressed feelings of exhaustion regarding hatred, stating, “Some hatred cannot be negotiated.” Furthermore, authorities revealed that Robinson’s parents noted their son became increasingly dedicated to gay and transgender rights leading up to the alleged assassination.
