‘A Sign Of A Deeply Unwell Person’: Charlie Kirk Tells Halperin That Political Left Overreacts And Is ‘Obsessed’

Turning Point USA founder and CEO Charlie Kirk on Wednesday opposed the idea that Donald Trump’s presidency represented a personal crisis for many on the left.

During his honest interaction with political analysts, “Mark Halperin”2 way tonightKirk said Trump’s presidency dismissed the emotional overreactions of many on the left, revealing the level of distress that revealed a deeper problem. Halperin encouraged Kirk to show more empathy for those who view Trump’s presidency as a personal crisis, and to consider why many on the left feel emotionally destroyed.

Kirk acknowledged these feelings, but wondered whether such extreme reactions were rooted in reason or simply in deep political fixation.

“Sorry. I don’t know how to deal with it. Yeah, they have to protect themselves, but they probably don’t like the policies that President Trump implements. They don’t like his style. I’ve heard it all. I don’t agree with it,” Kirk added.

Kirk said he believes many critics have lost their perspective.

“I think this catastrophe is the worst thing that has happened in my life, worse than death, or worse than a friend having cancer or your neighbor commits suicide, because the person you hate has become president.

Since Trump took office, Democrats have been struggling with a string of public meltdowns, suggesting that the party is struggling to deal with political change. From virus breakdowns to open rebellion of federal law, these cases are becoming more and more frequent.

One of the earliest displays came from Democratic California Sen. Adam Schiff, who began a floating blast each story before Trump took the vows to office. A few days before the inauguration day, Schiff vowed that Democrats were ready to “fight” and signaled his intention to revive the same partisan battle that defined Trump’s first term.
