“A vote for Kamala Harris is a vote for Dick Cheney,” former Hawaii state representative and 2020 presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard said at an event in Colorado last week with conservative journalist Tucker Carlson.
Gabbard, who left the Democratic party to become an independent in 2022, had a “very simple message for my Democratic friends, my independent friends, and for anyone who's not sure who to vote for in this election” on the Tucker Carlson Live show in Colorado Springs on Friday.
“Dick Cheney has now made his choice very clear. A vote for Kamala Harris is a vote for Dick Cheney, the architect of all the bad stuff that's happened in the Middle East over the last few decades,” she told the crowd at Broadmoor World Arena.

“Kamala Harris has told us everything we need to know about the kind of commander in chief she would be. I don't know about you guys, but I would not for a second put the lives of my military brothers and sisters in her hands.”
A video of Gabbard's remarks drew positive reactions on social media, with one Instagram user writing: “If there's ever going to be the first woman president I hope it's you.”
“Amen! My son is in the military and I will not put his life in Kamala's hands,” said another.
Another commenter agreed, writing, “Veterans support Trump Vance policies.”
