Aaron Rodgers attends the 2025 Kentucky Derby

Aaron Rodgers was among the many celebrities at Churchill Downs on Saturday for the 2025 Kentucky Derby.

Before the race kicked off, NBC cameras captured Rodgers mingling with other notable attendees.

Besides Rodgers, the event also featured famed figures like Simone Biles, a seven-time US gold medalist, and NBA Hall of Famer Carmelo Anthony.

Four NFL MVPs were also there, including Rodgers’ former teammates from both the Packers and the Jets: Davante Adams, Allen Lazard, and Randall Cobb, who attended the Barnstable Brown Derby Eve Gala.

At 41, Rodgers is experiencing the NFL free agency process for the first time and hasn’t yet signed with a new team for the upcoming season.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are reportedly interested in signing Rodgers, describing a recent conversation as “really productive,” according to head coach Mike Tomlin, who shared updates on April 26.

“We feel good about planning in that position,” Tomlin remarked.

Rodgers, on the Pat McAfee Show last month, mentioned that factors in his personal life and commitments were affecting his decisions during free agency, indicating retirement could also be an option.

“I’m at another stage in my life,” he reflected. “I’m 41, in a serious relationship, and I have commitments outside of football that I didn’t foresee last year. Those are important to me and to my close circle.”

He added that he had been focusing most of his attention on these personal matters since January.
