Some members of Aaron Rodgers’ family found out about his recent marriage just like everyone else did. The new Steelers quarterback mentioned to reporters on Tuesday that he had been married for “a few months,” which raised questions about a black ring he had been wearing.
His brother, former NFL MVP Jordan Rodgers, along with his wife JoJo Fletcher, were a couple formed during season 12 of “The Bachelorette.” Interestingly, they did not attend Aaron’s wedding, as reported by the Daily Mail. A source commented, “Jordan and JoJo didn’t go to the wedding, and I honestly don’t know much about Brittani. They’ve only heard things indirectly from their parents, Ed and Darla.”
Feelings are clearly tense. “They are still upset that Aaron didn’t attend Jordan’s wedding in May 2022. He chose not to be there for his brother’s big day, so why should they feel obliged to attend his?” the source added.
At 41, Rodgers has previously shown a willingness to distance himself from his family, including his other brother Luke. This was highlighted in the Netflix docuseries “Enigma,” which aired in December.
In that series, he criticized Jordan for appearing on “The Bachelorette,” dismissing it as a “Bulls–T Show.” Despite this, Jordan and JoJo reportedly learned that Aaron’s new bride is not seeking the spotlight. Rumors suggest she values her privacy and is not with him for fame or financial reasons. However, they still know very little about her.
“This is clearly not a united family. Now JoJo and Jordan are getting updates about Aaron’s marriage from the internet,” a source remarked.
In the Netflix docuseries, Rodgers mentioned that he is trying to find a way to reconcile with his family. Yet, when speaking to a Pittsburgh reporter, he offered no additional details about his wife.
For several weeks, he had been seen wearing a black ring in public, fueling speculation that he had married Brittany. He first disclosed he had a new girlfriend on the Pat McCuffy Show in December 2024, noting that she is a private individual—a notable change from his past relationships with figures like Danica Patrick, Olivia Munn, and Shailene Woodley.
