Aaron Rodgers’ emphatic stance on Jimmy Kimmel-Jeffrey Epstein ordeal

Aaron Rodgers reiterated that he did not mean to imply that Jimmy Kimmel was on Jeffrey Epstein’s list of associates.

The Jets’ 40-year-old quarterback returned to “The Joe Rogan Experience” this week and was asked why he brought up Kimmel in relation to the list.

Mr. Rogers said Mr. Kimmel on “The Pat McAfee Show” that the government’s UFO revelations will soon lead to a list of wealthy and powerful people accused of participating in Mr. Epstein’s notorious underage sex trafficking ring. He explained that he mocked Kimmel after making a deadpan comment that he might be a nuisance to the situation.

“He went on his show and called me an idiot in a tinfoil hat talking about things like this…He said I was an idiot for even thinking there was a list. I thought he said that,” Rodgers said.

Logan asked, “So when you said he didn’t want that list made public, you didn’t say he was on that list?”

Rodgers replied, “No!”

Mr Logan said many people saw the exchange “out of context” and assumed that was what Mr Rogers meant.

“No one saw that damn video. That’s why. They just saw the headlines and [were like] “Oh, here’s another anti-vaxxer guy, let’s slam him,” Rodgers said.

When Rodgers made this comment, there was an uproar on ESPN. ESPN carries McAfee’s show and is owned by ABC and Disney, where Kimmel hosts a late-night talk show.

Mike Foss, the ESPN executive who oversees McAfee’s show, said: “Aaron made a stupid and factually inaccurate joke about Jimmy Kimmel. That should never have happened. We all deserve it. , I realized that in that moment.”

Rogan said on this week’s podcast that he himself saw the clip out of context and thought Rodgers was hinting at an appearance on Kimmel.

“A lot of celebrities are on that list,” Logan said.

“The list has not been published yet,” Rogers said. “I got one email from one victim. 100 victims. None of them went to jail. Ghislaine Maxwell was charged with human trafficking and went to jail. …Anyone? I said this when I got home. [McAfee’s] show. That’s a terrible accusation that I wouldn’t want to make. I said, ‘Jimmy, I’m glad you’re not on the list.’ ”

Still, Rodgers felt Kimmel should maintain the “same energy” for what happened in Epstein’s case as his disdain for people who are skeptical of coronavirus vaccines.

“All I’m asking is, let’s talk with the same energy about vaccination and about people who are left unvaccinated and about people who are on the list. It’s a mess. That’s why,” Rogers said.

“What happens at the top? [of society], and why people go to Epstein’s island, and all the… conspiracies about whether he’s Mossad or not, and Ghislaine and her father, and all the weird connections. I am for all corruption on all sides to be removed. I don’t care if you’re on the left or the right. ”

Mr. Logan, with Mr. Rogers’ concurrence, said that Mr. Epstein’s island was an “intelligence operation” that threatened powerful people, and that “they used it to control all kinds of narratives and make all kinds of decisions.” It can be lowered,” he said.

Rogers said Kimmel’s staff invited him to the show last summer, but he wanted to have a private conversation with the host before speaking on air.
