Observations from Jets training camp practice on Friday.
wide awake
Garrett Wilson broke through the defense during a drill late in the game and got open to receive a touchdown pass from Aaron Rodgers.
Thrown away
Adrian Martinez, competing for the third-string quarterback spot, had two misses, one of which was intercepted.
He then threw a pass behind the receiver in the end zone.
It caught my eye
Joe Tippmann and Brady Latham’s snaps were below average for much of the day, especially during positional work where both players repeatedly snapped high.
But Tippman appeared to calm down by the time he snapped to Rodgers during team practice.
The Rogers Report
Rodgers was especially effective in the red zone on Friday, throwing perfect passes to Wilson, Breece Hall and Tyler Conklin for three touchdowns.

Then Wilson broke the coverage and Rodgers hit his fourth touchdown pass.
Injury Report
Allen Lazard returned to practice after missing Wednesday’s session.
Sauce Gardner (physical) was out, along with Michael Carter II (ankle) and Xavier Gipson (lower leg) and Takk McKinley worked on the sideline with a trainer.
Morgan Moses took part in team drills, giving the Jets their first full offensive line of the camp.
