Aaron Rodgers recently shared some details about his wife’s family.
The new quarterback for the Steelers, known for keeping his relationships under wraps, discussed his in-laws in an article from Athletic released on Friday.
“I was taking orders from my (new) step-sister, Mia,” said the smiling Rodgers. “She’s 20 years old and she’s the brain of the family. You have to ask her.”
Rodgers, 41, seems to be enjoying his time as a newlywed, having revealed in June that he has been married for “a few months.”
The four-time MVP sparked marriage rumors when he was seen wearing a black band on his left ring finger shortly after joining the Steelers.
“All the teams I spoke to said, ‘Listen, if I play, I’m not going to take a lot of money. I made a lot of money. I don’t need money,’” Rodgers told Athletic.
He had previously shared in December 2024 that he started dating a woman named Britanni, following notable relationships with former NASCAR driver Danica Patrick and actress Shailene Woodley.
The news of his marriage added fuel to the speculation about his wife’s identity.
“My personal life is my personal life, and it will stay that way. I’m with someone who wants to be private. When she wants to leave, she’ll choose that,” he mentioned in June on the Pat McAfee Show.
Even though his wife prefers to stay out of the spotlight, Rodgers has expressed his admiration for her publicly.
“When you discover the right thing and are with the right thing, your whole world will change very quickly,” he said last week during Steelers training camp.
“There’s no better feeling in the world than welcoming someone who loves you unconditionally behind the scenes, and I have the most incredible wife.”
Rodgers is gearing up for his first season with the Steelers, having parted ways with the Jets after an 18-year stint with Green Bay.
As the 2025 season approaches, there’s a chance this could be his last, as he prepares to face his former Jets team in the opening week.
