Rodgers Leads Steelers to Dramatic Victory Over Jets

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers delivered a stellar performance on Sunday, guiding his team to a thrilling 34-32 victory against the New York Jets.

Rodgers completed an impressive 22 out of 22 passes, amassing a total of 244 yards and throwing four touchdown passes. Notably, the Steelers scored 17 points in the fourth quarter, highlighted by Chris Boswell’s remarkable 60-yard field goal.

This marked the second game in which Rodgers threw four touchdown passes, his first being against the Miami Dolphins in the final week of last season when he was with the Jets.

When asked about the significance of beating the Jets, particularly since New York head coach Aaron Glenn had not considered Rodgers the right fit for their team, Rodgers stated, “I was happy to beat everyone involved with the Jets.”

Rodgers seemed to have a mix of emotions during the game. He mentioned wanting to enjoy the moment. “No, I just wanted to have fun today. I was dreaming of this opportunity and wondering how it would feel,” he shared. “The juice flows, and—well, will my competitive spirit be enough?”

Reflecting on the journey to this point, he expressed gratitude to his wife and friends for their encouragement in making the right decisions throughout his career.
