The group issued a statement of support on the anniversary date of October 7, 2023.th The attack by Hamas killed around 1,200 Israelis and kidnapped another 250, making it the worst attack on Jews since the Holocaust.

The “Abandon Harris” group brings together Muslim Americans and others dissatisfied with President Joe Biden's administration's response to Israel's retaliation for the horrific Oct. 7 attack.th.

“Our movement is dedicated to making Americans, especially the Muslim American community, aware of our shared responsibility to stand up to oppression and stop genocide wherever it occurs. “With this election on the brink, we stand with Jill Stein,” the group's statement reads.

Although Mr. Stein has no realistic path to the White House with just 1% support in polls, Mr. Stein represents more of a protest vote and could change the outcome of the election. They are stealing voters away from Democrats in extremely close states.

“We face two opposing forces: one currently engaging in conduct that causes significant human suffering, and the other showing little appetite for changing course. Both sides appear dedicated to maintaining these destructive policies,” the statement continued.

Mr. Stein will not appear in all 50 states, but he will be on the ballot in most battleground states, including Georgia, Arizona, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

Stein, who is Jewish himself, is a strong critic of the Israeli government and condemns the ongoing war in Gaza.

“Democrats lost the Muslim-American and Arab-American vote. They're going to lose enough numbers in swing states that they can't and won't win,” Stein said. .

After Biden leaves office, Harris will have to walk a tightrope to avoid upsetting Muslim American voters while also supporting Israel.

“We call on Muslim Americans and all those who stand firm against genocide to vote for the Green Party in 2024. The road to justice is long, painful, and difficult, but we will blaze it. It is our responsibility to comply,” the Abandon Harris campaign statement concluded.
