ABC Presidential Debate Moderator Linsey Davis Was A Member Of The Same Sorority As Kamala Harris

Lindsay Davis is ABC News It has been revealed that one of the moderators who delivered questions during Tuesday's presidential debate is a sorority club associate of Democratic candidate Kamala Harris.

Viewers of the debate noticed Davis repeatedly attempting to “fact check” Republican candidate Donald Trump, while allowing Harris to breez through the debate without any real-time backlash.

Harris joined the sorority while attending Howard University in 1986 and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Davis, meanwhile, joined a sorority as an undergraduate at the University of Virginia and graduated with a bachelor's degree in psychology in 1999.

Founded in 1908, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority is the first African-American sorority in the United States.

“The fact that Kamala Harris and Lindsay Davis are members of the same sorority (Alpha Kappa Alpha at Howard University and the University of Virginia, respectively) is relevant to the implicit bias,” wrote a Twitter user.

In one of the loudest comments of the debate, Davis tried to fact-check Trump's pro-abortion claims live after Trump referenced former Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam's 2019 comments about post-birth abortion.

“There is no state in this country where it is legal to kill a baby after birth,” Davis said in response to Trump's comments, with conservatives pointing out that six states and the District of Columbia do not have any restrictions on the procedure.

“Biased ABC anchor Lindsey Davis has teamed up with Vice President Kamala Harris to attack former President Donald Trump on the abortion issue,” wrote Tom O'Lohan, a writer for the conservative Media Research Center.

“ABC is making a huge error by attempting to fact-check on air. They are only showing how biased they are. Harris fabricated a story attacking Trump over IVF. ABC just sat back and said nothing,” wrote Ari Fleischer, former White House press secretary during the Bush administration.

“Lindsey Davis is totally cutting into the debate to help Kamala. No surprise there,” Outkick founder Clay Travis wrote in X's post.

Harris wasn't fact-checked when she falsely claimed Trump was behind the Heritage Project's Project 2025. She also falsely claimed Trump wanted to ban in vitro fertilization treatments, forcing the former Republican president to fact-check himself in real time during the debate.

After the debate, Harris' campaign called for a second debate, but Trump said there was no need for one because he won the first one. Harris had previously ignored suggestions of a second debate. Fox News The discussion would not have been unfair and biased towards her. ABC News Recent events.
