ABC late-night host Jimmy Kimmel hosted prominent anti-Trump figures Jane Fonda and George Conway as guests following his network's debate Tuesday night between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Trump.
“That was the worst defeat I've ever seen in a presidential debate or any debate,” said Conway, a lawyer and co-founder of the left-leaning Lincoln Project, who argued that Harris beat Trump in a landslide victory during Tuesday night's ABC News presidential debate.
Kimmel gleefully said he thought Trump lost too.
Both Conway and Fonda have publicly supported Harris' campaign, with Fonda campaigning in person on Biden's behalf at multiple events before Biden announced he was dropping out of the presidential race.

Both Conway and Fonda spoke about the presidential election during their interviews with Kimmel.
“It was awful,” Conway, who has been an outspoken critic of Trump, said of the former president's debate performance. “She was flawless. She was flawless. From the moment she walked onstage and walked right up to him, everything was perfect.”
During the interview, Fonda sharply criticized Trump's stance on climate change.
“We can't waste another four years on the climate crisis. The orange man means 'dig, dig,' and this is really serious. This is not an exaggeration. This is the truth. It's happening right now,” Fonda said.

Mr Kimmel is a vocal supporter of the Democratic Party and, like late-night hosts Stephen Colbert and Seth Meyers, has made his show a friendly forum for Democratic Party officials. Earlier this year, when Mr Biden was still leading the nomination race, Mr Kimmel and Mr Colbert helped organize a lavish fundraiser for the party.
Kimmel's show came under fire from conservatives on Tuesday night over the tone of its questioning of Trump and Harris, with critics complaining it was biased in favor of Harris. Hosts David Muir and Lindsey Davis fact-checked Trump's questions multiple times in real time but not Harris', but Harris' supporters said that was because she stuck more closely to the truth.
The Harris campaign did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Fox News Digital.
A Trump spokesperson pointed Fox News Digital to a campaign statement on his Truth social account praising Trump's “masterful performance in the debate and calling out Kamala Harris's abysmal record of failure to hurt the American people over the past four years.”
