“Where was the question? It’s a total misuse. It’s unfortunate, but of course it’s not surprising that there was no follow-up. Joe Biden did the right thing. He handed the job over to someone who can do it, so why can’t he? Where was that question? We would say it wasn’t on purpose,” Hasselbeck, who co-hosted the show from 2003 to 2013, told Fox News host Martha MacCallum. “Consider this the first piece of left-wing advertising for Kamala Harris’ campaign.”
Biden approved Harris reportedly secured the number of delegates needed to win the Democratic nomination on Tuesday morning, just after announcing she was ending her plans to seek reelection.
“This is her main stage, this is where it all begins. Unfortunately, the stage and the table that is always asking for a choice, and through the mouth of my friend Whoopi Goldberg, and I have told her this to her face, is trying to intimidate viewers into voting for Kamala based on the fact that she is a woman,” Hasselbeck continued. “I think this is a completely ignorant strategy, and I hope that the women watching don’t tune out or actually listen to what’s going on at this table. This is total brainwashing and giving up what they had. As KJP said, there was an opportunity for an actual question and there was no follow-up. It was really disappointing, but not a surprise.”
Former President Donald Trump currently leads Harris by 1.9 percentage points in national head-to-head races. according to The average of RealClear polls from July 5 to July 22. The former president’s lead is grow up If we include Green Party candidate Dr. Jill Stein and independent presidential candidates Cornel West and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in the survey, the figure is 3.2%.
