The renowned Bapus Hindu temple in Abu Dhabi marked Ram Navami and Swaminarayan Jayanti with blessings and celebration, highlighting significant moments for cultural and spiritual unity in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The announcement noted that devotees from across the region gathered at the temple to partake in a series of cultural and dedicated events.
As per the temple priest Puja Brahmabihari Swami, the celebrations commenced with Ram Bhajan from 9am to 12pm, followed by Sri Ram Janmozzav Aarti at noon, culminating in a day filled with festivities.
“The occasion saw a tremendous turnout of devotees and attendees who came together in devotion to Lord Ram and Bhagwan Swaminarayan. This spiritual assembly acted as a source of peace, unity, and timeless Hindu principles, spreading across borders,” the statement indicated.
A standout feature of the event was a unique cultural presentation by BAPS on a stage crafted to represent the sacred meeting of Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati. Through music, drama, and storytelling, the young performers enchanted their audience and portrayed a sacred and inspiring life of God.

Ram Navami is a Hindu festival celebrating the birth of Lord Ram, one of the most revered deities in Hinduism.
Lord Ram is also recognized as the seventh “Avatar” of Vishnu.
Ram Navami occurs on the ninth day of Shukla Paksha in the lunar month of “Chaitra” (March and April), the final month in the Hindu calendar.
Ram Navami is also an integral part of the Chaitra Navaratri Festival.
