Previous reports show that the activists representing the accused teenage murderer Karmelo Anthony have a long criminal history, including accusations of child abuse and a conviction on allegations of domestic violence from a former romantic partner.
Local reports show that Minister Dominique Alexander, appointed spokesman for the teenage murderer, was previously charged with multiple felony charges close to prison.
In 2009, Alexander was arrested for shaking and hitting his then-girlfriend, a two-year-old child. According to Fox 4 Dallas.
He was convicted of charges in 2011 and was on two years of probation from Dallas Court.
However, in 2016, the activist was sentenced to two years in prison for multiple violations of his probation, but served only eight days in prison for two listed violations of out-of-state travel. According to Dallas Morning News.

In 2017, the minister was arrested on felony property charges between $2,500 and $30,000. His previous conviction of forgery led him to 20 years in prison. The Dallas Observer reported.
In his latest legal violation, Alexander was charged with felony assault in 2019 in a domestic violence case caused by his actions against his then-girlfriend and baby mamakiara. According to the WFAA.
Sanders accused Alexander of pushing, suffocating her and stabbing her in the head during several altercations, but the mother of the two opposed the trial progression, a local ABC affiliate station reported at the time.
Alexander is the president and CEO of Next Generation Action Network, who came to the side of 17-year-old Texas high school student Anthony, who was accused of stabbing fellow athlete Austin Metcalf in the heart at the track competition on April 2.
