Actor Chance Perdomo dies in motorcycle crash at 27

Actor Chance Perdomo, known for his roles in “The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” and “Generation V,” has died in a motorcycle accident. He was 27 years old.

“On behalf of our family and his representatives, it is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the untimely passing of Chance Perdomo following a motorcycle accident,” a spokesperson for Perdomo said in a statement to The Hill.

No one else was involved in the crash, the statement said, citing authorities. Further details were not immediately available.

“His passion for art and his insatiable appetite for life will be felt by all who knew him, and his warmth will be passed on to those he loved most. We mourn the passing of a beloved son and brother. We ask that you respect the family’s wish for privacy,” the statement continued.

Perdomo starred as Andre Anderson in Gen V, a spin-off of the Amazon Prime series The Boys. He also played Ambrose Spellman in “The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.” His character was a pansexual, powerful wizard and Sabrina Spellman’s cousin, the Associated Press reported.

Amazon MGM Studies and Sony Pictures Television released statements paying tribute to Mr. Perdomo.

“The entire Generation V family is devastated by the passing of Chance Perdomo. Amazon MGM Studies and Sony Pictures Television extend our condolences to Chance’s family and all who loved him during this difficult time.
