Actor John Capodis passed away on Monday at the age of 83.
Pizzi Funeral Home, New Jersey. Obituary Capodis' death was announced on Wednesday. The official cause of death has not been disclosed. The actor was best known for his roles on “Ace Ventura, Seinfeld'' and “General Hospital.''
“John was an Army veteran who served in Korea from 1964 to 1966. John appeared on stage, on television, and in many films,” the obituary reads. The statement praised Capodis as an “accompanied actor” and “a proud member of Blauvelt Sons of Italy Rockland Lodge 2176.”

Starr's decades-long career has produced a long list of accomplishments and acting credits. Capodis' acting career began with off-Broadway stage work until 1978, when he appeared in the soap opera “Ryan's Hope.” He then appeared on TV shows such as “As the World Turns,” “Moonlighting,” “LA Saw,” and “LA Saw.” ”, “Melrose Place”, and “Will & Grace”.
Capodis' film credits include “Wall Street,'' “The Doors,'' “Speed'' and “Independence Day,'' before appearing in “Ace Ventura: Pet Detective.''
His most recent role is in the 2024 comedy series “Conversation with Mobster.”
The actor is remembered as a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.

Those wishing to pay their final respects in person are invited to visitation hours at Pizzi Funeral Home on January 11th from 2 to 6 p.m.
