Hollywood star John Leguizamo has spread fake news claiming that former President Donald Trump was not injured in Saturday’s assassination attempt in Pennsylvania.
Recently, John Leguizamo, host of Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show,” reposted a photo of Trump showing off his right ear without any signs of injury. “Not even a scratch! But let’s milk it for all it’s worth!” the actor wrote.
However, it turns out the photo was from 2022.

The photo in question shows Trump standing next to then-Senator candidate J.D. Vance (R-Ohio) at an event in Ohio in 2022. Media outlets recirculated the Reuters file photo after Trump announced on Monday that he would choose Senator Vance as his running mate.
Despite the correction from a reader, Leguizamo had not removed the post as of mid-afternoon Tuesday.
The actor also mocked Trump for wearing a bandage on his ear on the first day of the Republican National Convention on Monday.

According to a report from Breitbart News, Disney Star Wars Actor Mark Hamill has also pushed the theory that Trump is faking his injury.
On Saturday, Trump narrowly escaped a fatal assassination attempt by a gunman at a rally in Pennsylvania, where he was shot in the ear. Numerous media photos showed the former president with blood streaming down his face and ear as he yelled at his supporters, “Fight! Fight! Fight!”
