Actor Josh Hartnett has been released from the hospital following a car accident that occurred in St. John’s, Canada, on Thursday. The incident involved the SUV he was in and a Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) patrol vehicle.
The 47-year-old, known for his role in “Oppenheimer,” is back at work, as confirmed by his representatives. An outlet reported that Hartnett was accompanied by a 59-year-old man, who was admitted to the hospital after the crash. According to the RNC, the collision took place at the intersection of New Cove Road and Elizabeth Avenue shortly before 1 a.m., causing significant damage to both vehicles involved.
Both men were taken to the hospital due to what are believed to be minor injuries. The report also mentioned that the male officer accompanying them was hospitalized for precautionary reasons.
The RNC added that collision analysts are seeking any witnesses or video footage, such as CCTV or cellphone recordings, from the area surrounding the incident.
