Here we have young, vibrant, and attractive women who, frankly, seem to have lost touch with reality, given their incredible privileges for so long.
Of course, it’s not only her fault. The entertainment industry and the media certainly play a part in enabling this behavior.
Honestly, when she shared the distressing notes from a director, her peers and the media reacted as if she had just escaped a concentration camp.

Her response was quick: “When a male director approached me, he quietly leaned over and said, ‘Give me a little belly suck.'”

Can you see the absurdity here? What are they aiming for with this? To me, it seems like he was just trying to ensure his actress looked great.
Movies and TV shows are everlasting. Whatever gets recorded remains on screen indefinitely. So, the director had a choice: either give her a note for lasting beauty or let her worry linger.
The director didn’t demand anything crude from her. Instead, he was careful, keeping the note between the two of them.
If a female director had done this, Hollywood might interpret it as, sisters supporting each other. But since he was a man, some are eager to ruin his reputation.
So, who really benefits from this? Possibly artificial intelligence.
Why would a good man want to work with individuals who tear down careers and reputations just to present themselves as victims, all while the man in question has done nothing wrong? He was simply doing his job to make sure his actors looked their best.
Sure, it might have been an awkward moment for both, but any rational person, rather than a self-centered bully, would have valued that director’s concern.
Another issue is how actresses sometimes act as if they’re the only ones dealing with appearance-related pressures. That’s absurd! Men are also expected to maintain their fitness, especially in the past decade where the superhero genre has demanded even more physical perfection from male actors than from their female counterparts.
It’s astonishing to think someone could be so spoiled that they can’t move past a minor incident like this.
