Actress Sophia Bush, known for her roles in One Tree Hill and Chicago Police Department, has recently criticized President Donald Trump, following her comments that seemed to encourage liberals to act violently against their political opponents.
This reaction came after a judge’s order was executed last week, which left Congressman Levin celebrating his win yet also pointing out that the tarp covering the Kennedy Center’s name still remains despite Trump’s removal.
This latest remark follows Bush’s recent appearance on the left-leaning talk show, The View, where she suggested she’d physically confront those who oppose her beliefs.
She also launched a harsh critique of former First Lady Michelle Obama, calling it “classy” when Obama stated, “When they go low, we go high,” while noting Obama had previously mentioned feeling unproud to be an American.
Bush argued that the left should stop isolating themselves in safe spaces and instead engage in public dialogues, warning that a lack of presence could allow misinformation and biases to thrive. “If we don’t get into some of these spaces, I think we’re going to leave a vacuum where the worst misinformation, the worst racism, the worst sexism grows,” she stated. Although she expressed respect for Michelle Obama, emphasizing that she did not wish to drag her down, Bush insisted that the fight needs to happen.
She passionately exclaimed, “We’ve kept it classy for too long, and at this point it’s like I’m going to come at you and punch you in the mouth.”
