Adam Fox lands on IR in Rangers pre-trade deadline crusher

The Rangers left their latest victory in the horror of injuries, one of them becoming a nightmare.

According to Post's Mollie Walker and Larry Brooks, they're out on a sanctuary injured in upper body injuries, leaving them in a shoulder strap during the Islander victory on Tuesday.

He will miss out for a while – according to the protocol attached to the IR designation, at least the next seven days will have to be missed, but is expected back by the end of the regular season.

A key piece of top pairing with Ryan Lindgren and its top power playline, Fox has garnered 48 points in 58 games.

K'Andre Miller also finished Tuesday's 5-1 victory, but his position remains unknown.

The Rangers recalled Matthew Robertson of AHL Hartford on Wednesday.
