Adam Schefter delighted Jason Kelce with parade getup on ESPN

Adam Schefter did his best Jason Kelce impersonation during an appearance on “Monday Night Countdown,” much to the delight of host Scott Van Pelt and the former Eagles center.

The “Monday Night Countdown” crew erupted in laughter when the NFL insider appeared on screen wearing a Mummers costume similar to the one Kelce wore in the Eagles' Super Bowl parade in 2018.

On that day in February 2018, Kelsey made headlines for her outfit and passionate speech.

“He's totally become a mom,” Van Pelt exclaimed, as the laughter continued.

“Look, if I'm coming back to Jason Town, I'm going to do it the right way,” Schefter said. “Yeah! So if I'm going to talk about sticking my ass out in Jason Town, I better dress like it so it works.”

“You look fine,” Kelsey told Schefter.

Kelce, a former NFL lineman, is in his first season as part of the “Monday Night Countdown” crew, with his second appearance coming ahead of a Monday night showdown between the Falcons and Eagles, the team he played all 13 years of his NFL career with.

“This is part of your history here,” Schefter said of the costume. “Shocking your butt is part of your history. And I say this: I know a little bit how you all felt when you walked out in the parade, because I'm sure when I walked into the stadium I got the same kind of reaction you all got when you walked up to the podium in Philadelphia.”

Schefter added that the biggest difference is that Kelce had a Super Bowl championship ring.

Kelsey was clearly excited to be back in his adopted hometown of Philadelphia to watch “Monday Night Football,” as was evident in videos of the former Eagles player having fun tailgating around Lincoln Financial Field.
