Additional information about D4vd's arrest disclosed following charges in the murder of a 14-year-old.

Musician D4vd was arrested late Thursday night on murder charges connected to the death of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez. Law enforcement officers from the Los Angeles Police Department took him into custody around 10:12 p.m. after they arrived at the Hollywood Hills residence where he was staying earlier that day.

Currently, D4vd is being held without bail at the 77th Street Community Police Station, identified as Inmate #7221640.

The police have disclosed new images from the operation, depicting numerous armed officers in tactical gear surrounding a house on Marmont Avenue; one of the photos captures them breaching the front door.

Lt. Scott M. Williams, from the LAPD’s Robbery-Homicide Division, indicated to the press that they had been monitoring D4vd closely and acted upon acquiring sufficient evidence for the arrest.

A grand jury investigation regarding the case began in February 2026, highlighting D4vd as a focus of interest. Since the discovery of Rivas’ body, he has yet to make any public statements.

Rivas’ dismembered remains were located in the back seat of D4vd’s Tesla in September, after a worker at a tow yard reported an unpleasant smell emanating from the vehicle. She had been reported missing by her family in April.

Following the shocking revelation of her body, D4vd canceled his upcoming tour dates and withheld comments as online speculation surged about any connection he might have had with Rivas, fueled by photos of them that appeared prior to her disappearance.
