A green adult toy made its unexpected appearance at Nissan Stadium in Nashville during the fourth quarter of the Titans’ 23-13 preseason win on Friday night.
A witness known as Titan has shared pictures of those involved in the stunt and has forwarded the details to the Metro Nashville Police Department, according to reports.
This amusing event follows a peculiar pattern of similar disruptions involving adult toys, which have interrupted WNBA games on at least six occasions, resulting in multiple arrests.
In a video, Z-Sport reporter Easton Freeze remarked, “Ladies and gentlemen, we have dildos,” highlighting the surprising sight.
The stunt comes amid ongoing legal issues related to similar pranks in the WNBA, with at least six confirmed cases of objects being thrown during games.
In one incident, police apprehended 32-year-old Charles Burgess last Wednesday after he allegedly threw a dildo at a Liberty Wings game, striking a 12-year-old girl on August 5.
Earlier in the month, Arizona State Police arrested 18-year-old Kaden Lopez for reportedly throwing a green dildo that hit a 9-year-old during a Mercury game on the same date.
Additionally, a third individual, Delbert Carver, 23, was arrested for tossing toys during a game in July, marking one of two similar incidents involving a particular team.
A spokesperson for a cryptocurrency group claimed responsibility for these actions but noted that Carver and Lopez were not part of their organization.
Reaction from WNBA players and coaches has been largely negative regarding these antics. Sparks coach Lynn Roberts expressed her disapproval, calling the situation “ridiculous” and emphasizing the importance of player safety.
