AG Bondi, Press Sec Leavitt Comments Leading to ‘Constitutional Crisis’
Former federal prosecutor Andrew Weissman said Monday that at MSNBC's “deadline” White House spokesman Caroline Leavitt and Pam Bondy's Attorney Generals led to a constitutional crisis.
Commenting on President Donald Trump, where more than 250 immigrants to El Salvador and US District Judge James Boasberg ordered deportation, Leavitt posted to X.
Host Nicole Wallace asked, “Is there a constitutional crisis on us?”
Weissman said, “The answer is yes.”
He continued. Sorry, who says that on God's green earth? That is the purpose of the court. ”
Weissman added: She says we are suing it. It's all a fair game. But she went even further. And she said he would support the terrorists by his ruling. That's the first line of her statement. That's from the US Attorney General. And for me, that's those comments that are leading to that constitutional crisis. That's not a way to tell if you're a head law enforcement officer or someone else in the government. ”
