AG Pam Bondi Seeks Death Penalty for Luigi Mangione

Attorney General Pam Bondy on Tuesday ordered federal prosecutors to seek the death penalty against Luigi Mangione, a man accused of bombarding United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson outside a Manhattan hotel in December 2024.

Mangion, 26, faces separate federal and state murder charges for murder. Federal charges include murder charges for using a firearm, and could be the death penalty.
